Dir en grey's new album "Uroboros" draws it's name from the cyclical serpent--the mystical symbol of a snake consuming its own tale. What better image is there for a band that frequently consumes itself in order to make a more powerful, perfect, whole? Like the Uroboros of legend, Dir en grey's new album marks a sort of return for the band, revisiting the pre-"Withering to Death" era with what is scheduled to be the band's most diverse, brooding, and creative release yet. Non-screaming vocals are set to take on a stronger part in the compositions--competing with new intruments like mandolins. Thematically "Uroboros" considers topics of guilt and reincarnation. Created over the span of a year during the band's various trips abroad, the new album includes 13 new tracks like the emotional English language hit "Dozing Green," quiet and crazy "Glass Skin," and popular live track "Third time does the trick."

20 августа Porno Graffitti выпустит сингл «Gift», кроме того, группа запланировала четыре выступления в сентябре. Концерты, приуроченные к празднованию десятилетия существования группы, пройдут в Yokohama Stadium и Akashi Kaikyo National Government Park. А 8 октября выйдет сингл «Love, too Death, too».
17 сентября выйдет сингл группы Nightmare, «Lost in Blue», доступный в трех версиях. Ограниченная версия будет включать в себя DVD с клипом: вариант А – на песню «Lost in Blue», вариант В – на песню «Kaikou Catharsis».
10 сентября выйдет в свет сингл певицы Anna Tsuchiya, «Virgin Cat», который станет темой для американского сериала «The L Word».
24 сентября в продажу поступит диск группы 12012, «5th Anniversary Special Live -Arashi-», включающий в себя запись выступления в Akasaka Blitz в честь пятилетия существования группы. Готовятся две версии, одна из которых будет содержать закулисные съемки и комментарии участников.
